DESRIPTION

This route appeals to those short of time, climbing to Mt. Rinjani’s Crater Rim in Gunung Rinjani National Park. Starting and ending in Senaru, it provides spectacular views of the Lake Segara Anak within the volcano’s crater. This gentle trek is good for beginners, or family with children (minimum 10 years old). Tour can leave any days except weather condition does not permitted.

TYPE OF TOUR

Fully organized (combination of adventure, leisure, safety). You will accompanied by fully license and experienced English Speaking mountain guide. Rinjani Trek requires you to have a good level of fitness and ability to walk long distance. Person with mountain sickness or height phobia are not allowed to join this tour. We can customize any date based on request with minimum 2 persons in each group.

ITINERARY

Day 1 : Pick up early at your hotel, transfer to Rinjani Trek Centre ( RTC ) in Senaru ( 601 m ), meet your describes the route details, local cultural traditions, rubbish management and safety procedures. The first hours of the trek climb steeply through thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. Rest stops are taken along the way, and at pos 2 Montong Satas shelter ( 1,500 m ). The night’s camp is made either in the forest at pos 3 Mondokon Lolak ( 2,000 m ) after about five hours climb from senaru, or continue the ascent for another couple of hours through grassy meadows Plawangan 1 Senaru crater rim at 2,641m, views across the lake Segara Anak (2,00m) to the summit of Mt. Rinjani. Within the crater, Mt. Baru ( 2,351 m ) is an active, last erupting dramatically in 1994. On a clear evening the Gili Isles, Bali and Mt. Agung can be seen to the west.

Day 2 : Sunrise at the crater rim is a memorable to Day 2, enjoyed after a pre-dawn two hour climb for camping at pos 3 Mondokon Lolak. After enjoying the view, descend down the trail down to senaru village through first grassland then back into the shade of the tropical forest. After about six hours from the rim, the trek ends at Rinjani Trek Centre at the road head in Sen

  Best trekking guide!
Just book here with antok. He is amazing, takes care of you and can tell you many things beside the rinjani.   First ever climb
It was really fun, not only was my Guide, Mr Antok being considerate, understanding and fun. He made sure of our well being throughout the whole climb. There was never a time where there was discomfort because he make sure we are always well taken care of.   Rinjani is a tough challenge and great experience for interested hikers!
We went for a 3D2N hike with Antok and team and they provided us with clean tents, sleeping bags, and delicious food on the mountains. Terrain was challenging and some parts were fun. The summit hike was extremely tough but the view is worth it once you are up there. Definitely a sight to see and great self accomplishment!!

Where to begin...what an all round amazing experience. From start to finish we felt looked after and had an unforgettable time. When we first arrived we were warmly greeted, before our tour even started the day before Antok took us to the waterfalls, a sunset point and so very kindly invited us to have a wonderful dinner with his family. We did the 3d2n treck and oh boy was it hard, but the kindness and knowledge of our guide (Herman) and porters was next to none, the incredibly hard work they do to make it possible for us to do this hike is incredible.   Amazing Pergasingan hill sunrise hike
I went with Anton on amazing sunrise hike to Pergasingan Hill. He prepared me breakfast before we left and brought snacks and water for the hike. We drove on motorbike from Senaru to Sembalun at 2am and started hiking in the dark with flashlights. We needed around 1,5 hours to the top and further to the sunrise spot. We were faster on our way back down. Pergasingan hill is good alternative if you are not prepared for Rinjani hike and the views are amazing. The path is steep in the beginning but it's not too long. Anton is really nice, kind, helpful guide and always taking care that the hike is safe. Thank you again!

  Waterfalls and Pergasingan Hill
Antok has been an amazing guide showing me around. We went to the waterfalls first and then on the 2D1N Pergasingan hill hiking. The view from the top was breathtaking and the trip was really well organised. Antok helped me a lot on the way down cause it can get a bit slippery. I highly recommend him as a guide 😊
